Crafty Bob Clipart

I've noticed that teddy bears are very popular on greetings cards and I love them myself so I made a background from one of Crafty Bob's teddies in his BEAR BUNDLE, I also designed a card using the background and a Sassy Cheryl character from the CLIPART PACK 35 and a matching insert.  Here are the results as made by BARBARA HIEBERT (click to see her gallery).

I just love what Barbara has done with the background, what a good idea!  As usual click on the picture titles to be taken to my sheets.

Freebie Quickpage

I have CraftArtist on my computer, I had it for my birthday a year or two ago but haven't really got into using it that much.  I found this quickpage from when I was first playing about with CraftArtist, it is quite pretty so if anyone wants to download it they are welcome.  Its saved as a transparent .png.

MY RECENT NEW FROM - APERTURE CARDS

Last month I did a New From, it wasn't hugely successful although most the cards have sold.  Here are three of the cards made by MICHELLE CHIVERS (click to see more of Michelle's cards), they are Christmas cards and I used the really cute Christmas Critters from DELIGHTFUL DOODLES.  I love the Delightful Doodles stuff and try to buy something each time they have a sale or special offer on (their graphics are quite expensive full price - although saying that you do get a lot of clipart in a pack).  As usual click on the name of the card to be taken to my sheet for that card.

RED NOSED FROG

I've recently bought some clipart and background tiles designed by Trina Clark, I think maybe she used to have a licence you had to buy and thats why I havent bought from her before, but now her graphics are licence free and she has even put Designer Resources up on Craftsuprint.  Her stuff is really gorgeous, lots of flowers and butterflies and really cute cats and dogs and other animals.  Here is a card made by Barbara Hiebert from a sheet I designed called Red Nosed Frog Get Well Card.  Normally the frog has a smile but I changed it slightly by turning the mouth downwards and adding the red nose!  To go to my sheet for the card click on the picture title and CLICK HERE to see more of Barbara's cards.

Freebie Background

Thought I'd just upload a pretty background I made, its 12"x12" (3600x600 dpi).  You're welcome to download it and are free to use it CU4CU.  If anyone does use it I'd love to see what you make with it.

Rob Pohl Originals

When I originally bought a batch of Rob Pohl original paintings I made them into birthday cards (tomorrow I'll post the original sheets I made).  However I thought these two particularly leant themselves to sympathy cards so I designed a couple of extra sheets.  Click on the picture captions to go to my sheets for the cards.

One Of My Favourites

One of my favourite designers on CUP for designer resources at the moment is Sarah Horton, press HERE to go to Sarah's page on the CUP website.  She does these gorgeous hand-drawn clip-art designs, including such characters as Threadbear and Maizie, both of which I have bought and used several times.  Her character "of the moment" is a scruffy dog that she has started calling Barkley, I'm definitely getting hooked on Barkley because as soon as I see a new design come on the site I have to restrain myself from buying it straight away.  Here are a few of the cards that have been made up of the sheets I have designed using Barkley Dog.  I will post more Barkley cards soon!

Well its definitely been a long time since I posted on this blog, not since last year!  So to wish everyone a happy new year here are a couple of New Year cards.
